the clog home

ouestjesuis:

downtown is sweet but it was time to head out. generally you know when it’s time to head home cuz you’ve ridden to the point where you don’t feel like you have enough energy left to make it home.

so zack and hillary took 7th west until it dead ended into a construction site. they turned north (that’s right if you’re heading west) and cruised up to 3rd and turned left (west) for home.

just a quick biking tip. 3rd st sucks for any number of reasons. the main reason is that the far right side of the road heading in both directions is basically like a cooled off lava stream. in a car it sucks. on a bike it is murder. especially going up hill into a head wind during mid-day traffic where you have pretard motorists riding your ass half ass attempting to pass you but mostly just confused as to why you are in the road.

once on 3rd it was basically just a straight shot for both the doods to get home. one awesome thing that did happen was that this teenage girl was riding her beach cruiser down the sidewalk while talking on the phone. she hit a bump and swerved hard and dropped her flip-phone and when it hit the ground it broke in two and the pieces skidded in opposite directions out into the road. i think i heard hillary say “bummer” but i wasn’t really paying attention.
