more clogging

so zack and hillary tell me about their “big idea”. which, in reality isn’t so big, or original, or good, or cool, but okay, the idea is this - they are going to go on quasi-long, chilled out bike rides through los angeles and surrounding areas, take photos, and post them up on this blog type thing and tell the story of the ride. i bet you are wondering about the use of the word “clog” in all of this right? no? well, now that i’ve mentioned it i’ll go ahead and explain that hillary fell off the balcony of his house when he was a wee tike and ever since he thinks he has good ideas and that everyone else is stupid for not thinking his ideas are really awesome. the real deal is that most of his ideas are stupid and that is why no one wants to have anything to do with them. so this “clog” idea that is by default, stupid, is to get as many people as possible together on bicycles and have them ride from the 4th st bridge all the way to the beach and totally clog up a major street in los angeles. see? dumb idea. he doesn’t even know more than like six people with bikes.

anyway, hillary refuses to stop calling the bike rides clogs even though it’s just him and zack. but so i agreed to call them clogs as well. i’m actually a little disappointed that i just wrote all that but…so here it is, the actual beginning.

zack and hillary met up on saturday, may 31st at 5:30 am on the corner of 3rd and fairfax at the farmer’s market. then plan was to ride down to the beach taking santa monica blvd and then just ride back. well, 43 chilled out minutes later they were skirting down the ramp at the pier.
